Meat and bone meal
The plant has been running since 1971 — first as a state rendering facility. In 2025 the enterprise was privatised, and in 2026 a complete renovation was finished. Today it is four ERCIM Recovery Systems lines: from collecting raw material at the client's site to shipping the finished product with a quality passport.
About production
A closed loop from raw material to feed protein
After the 2026 renovation the plant runs four lines for disposal and meat and bone meal production — ERCIM Recovery Systems equipment. Together with our own transport and an incoming and outgoing control laboratory, that keeps batch quality in a narrow corridor.

About the plant
In plain words
What meat and bone meal is
It is a concentrate of animal protein and minerals made from non-food raw material of animal origin. In compound feed it does what meat does on a plate — it covers the protein requirement.
Meat and bone meal — a dry, free-flowing product of the heat treatment of bones, trimmings and offal unfit for food use.
The raw material is ground, sterilised under pressure, the fat is pressed out, then it is dried and milled. The result is a stable powder that keeps for months and is microbiologically safe. What would otherwise go to landfill returns to agriculture as a feed ingredient.
What it replaces
Part of the soybean meal and fish meal, plus separate calcium and phosphorus mineral supplements.
Who needs it
Feed mills, poultry farms, pig complexes, fish farms and pet food producers.
Why it pays off
Cheaper than fish meal while playing a comparable role in the ration, and independent of imports.

Quality control
No batch leaves without a report
The laboratory checks raw material on the way in and the finished product on the way out. The figures go into a quality passport that travels with the batch — you see exactly what you are buying.

How we work
Five steps from request to shipment
A transparent process for both sides: raw material suppliers and buyers of finished product work to the same rules.

Request and calculation
We clarify the volume, the type of raw material or product, the region and the frequency. In reply — a commercial offer with a price and a schedule.

Contract and documents
We sign a contract for biological waste collection or for product supply. We prepare the veterinary and accounting documents.

Logistics
Specialised transport with sealed bodies arrives on the agreed schedule. Every trip is logged.

Processing
The raw material goes through grinding, heat treatment, fat pressing and milling. The settings are controlled by the line automation.

Control and shipment
The laboratory issues a report, the product is packed into bags or big bags and shipped from the warehouse or straight to the buyer.
